His & Hers (Jason & Melissa's SRT's)

Here it is! My first shoot of the year / first shoot since creating Inside Line Photos. This was also my first shoot doing two cars at once. It was the first truly beautiful day of the year although almost too beautiful. When I first wanted to start shooting the sun was a little harsh but upon moving to the 2nd location to escape the sun the lighting was perfect. This shoot was also my first shoot with my new Sony 70-200 G lens and my last shoot with my trusty Sony A6000 body I’ve been using for the last four years. I tried some new techniques to see what kind of quality I could get out of the A6000 by stitching several photos together. I’m super happy with how these turned out and can’t wait for more shoots to break in my new Sony A7Riii. Enjoy!

2020 BLOG UPDATE:

Here it is. A new blog post….

After spending most of last year talking about it, researching and waiting until what felt like the right time I FINALLY registered my photography as a legitimate business. What this means is I am now overwhelmed, terrified and excited all at the same time. On top of launching the business, I’ve also decided to rebrand as Inside Line Photos LLC. I’ve converted my personal website into a page dedicated to showcasing what Inside Line Photos LLC is… although I couldn’t completely do away with my landscape and product work I also love doing so there’s still a tab for that ;). I’ve decided to leave all the old blog posts up and some of the photos on the site still have my old watermarks but from here on out everything will be focused around Inside Line Photos.

2020 should be an exciting year. New logos, shirts and more are all coming soon and so is car season. This year I have a lot of planned events on my calendar and I’m looking to cover more events and book more private shoots than any year previous! STAY TUNED!

Ready Set Drift: Pre-Bash 2019

A lot of drifting events on my schedule this year (which is fine by me). First one of the year is Ready Set Drift: Pre-Bash, the event before the major Club Loose event, East-Coast Bash. This was kind of a last minute decision for my friend Josh and I but it was a great opportunity to dust off the cob-webs and get back into shooting drifting before Formula Drift and Club Loose: Pro Bro Down in June.

This event was the first time trying out mounting a GoPro on top of my camera (inspired by Larry Chen) and recording some footage as I shot which made for a pretty cool little video. Keep in mind there’s a reason I’m a photographer not a videographer. This event was also taught me some lessons in applying sunscreen evenly and remember my Circular Polarizer….oops.

Overall I was pretty happy with some of the photos I got and as always enjoyed catching up with friends and watching guys with zero mechanical sympathy shredding tires and banging rev-limiter.

Mr. Gray

After taking a couple months off from photography to focus on work and try to get over my photography slump, I took some time over the winter to continue building my Mustang into the car I've always wanted to make it. It's still a work in progress, but with what looks like a brand new car it's helped spark my creativity in photography since this is the car that started it all. Enjoy!
